Designing travel logos is a challenge; it requires in-depth comprehension of the nature of the business that should be represented. A designer should provide a symbol that is appropriate for the nature of the business or company, like for example an image of helping fellow human being for Red Cross and an image of a chic look for a fashion industry would do the job well.
Colors – Most of the time travel companies relate the color of their logos depending on the travel destination that they specialize with. If they are into travelling the mid-east and the dessert, the dessert colors would probably be the evident colors in their logos. If they are into water destinations or tropical islands, the most evident colors would be the color of the sea or the bright sunny skies—blue, aqua or green.
Fonts – This is almost the same as the colors; the fonts should be closely related to the destination these travel companies are working with. If the company is located to extravagant places like New York or Las Vegas, the designer might want to consider using fancy fonts or formal depending on the place.
Designing – The designing of a logo always comes in natural with the businesses’ location. You will often see green colors and trees in a logo if the business can be found on such location near greeneries and nature. Likewise, boats and other images related to surfing are in a logo if the business is near the water or sea.
Styling – Styling also is dictated by the location of the business, if the location suggests formality and conservativeness, you can expect a simpler and straightforward approach to a logo style. Fancy and other imaginative style can be attributed to Las Vegas or any other elaborate places.
